Fair refund process

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We strive to ensure fair treatment for both clients and makers throughout the refund process.

Before Payment

Requests and quotes can be cancelled freely before payment.

After Payment (Before Work Starts)

If a job is cancelled before the Maker begins work, a full refund (minus payment processing fees) may be issued.

After Work Has Begun

Refunds will depend on the amount of work already completed. Partial refunds may be approved at MakerHub's discretion.

Disputes After Delivery

If you're unsatisfied with the outcome, you can raise a dispute within 7 days of delivery. MakerHub will mediate between both parties and may decide on rework, partial refund, or rejection.

Non-Refundable Cases

  • Custom items already produced
  • Files or digital work already delivered
  • Failure to provide required files or communication by the client

Refund Method

Refunds are processed to the original payment method (PayFast or EFT) within 5–10 business days after approval.
